Daniel Pollera

Daniel Pollera was raised and educated on Long Island, New York. He studied art at Famingdale University and is a mostly self-taught artist. Daniel Pollera has worked under Everett Molina, a mural artist and head of the National Mural Society. Inspired by such artists as Edward Hopper and Andrew Wyeth, Daniel Pollera paints in a realistic style. His paintings are crisp and have a photographic quality that captures a strong mood and a melancholy feeling. Using acrylics with a warm palette on board, and drawing from personal life experiences, Daniel Pollera lures the viewer in with sharp, almost magical, realism through a series of interesting compositions.
